Alex Cooke recently completed her swimming career at Greensboro College with a bang. While being named Most Outstanding Swimmer in her conference meet, Alex qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships. At the nationals in Minneapolis, Minnesota she set personal bests and school records in several events and capped her performance by being selected as an All-American Swimmer for her performance in 100 backstroke.

Alex swam many summers for the High Point Elks Swim Team and she and sister Katie were members of the first Elks swim team to capture the City Championship. Parents Karen and Brad Cooke must be pleased and proud of Alex’s accomplishments as are the members of the High Point Elks Lodge. Congratulations, Alex!
