I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday Season with your friends and families! December was a fun and meaningful month at the Lodge. I would like to thank the Ladies Auxiliary for decorating the Lodge for the Christmas Season. We had great fun at the Member/Guest and at our Member’s Only nights. A special thanks to Scott Webster for cooking our large steaks!

We had a great showing of benevolence with everyone that brought things for our Veterans Christmas bags. We were able to make enough for the veterans in Salisbury as well as the Vet Safety Net in High Point. I would like to thank the Veterans Committee and the Ladies Auxiliary for all their hard work. I would also like to thank all those that contributed by buying all the different items that we were able to put in each bag. This is what Elks are all about. Just remember that we must never, ever forget our Veterans!

On January 12th we will be hosting the West Central District Deputy Clinic and would appreciate the attendance of as many our members as possible. We will also have Trivia Night on the 18th. There are a number of activities scheduled for the month of January so please go to the website and find one that you would like to attend. We would all enjoy seeing you!

Finally, please remember to sell your PER Raffle tickets! You do not need to be a member to buy them or present to win! You can turn your money into the Lodge office or in the Lounge.
