On May 6th the Lodge hosted the 4th annual Andy Albertson Memorial Charity Golf tournament at Holly Ridge Golf Links. We had another great turnout this year with participation by 71 golfers. The High Point Lodge partnered once again with Hospice of the Piedmont this year to raise over $6000 in charitable funds. Hospice is a very worthwhile organization that has touched many of us with their services either directly or indirectly.
We have many returning sponsors each year and could not have a successful event without them. Please tell them thank you when you see them. Thank the business sponsors by using their services. A special shout out to Sheetz for providing drink tumblers for all golfers and to Tom Day for providing golf balls and snacks to all golfers. Last but, not least, we could not put on this event without our great volunteers.
