As I’m writing this letter it seems like yesterday that I wrote my first ER letter. I have been honored to be the Exalted Ruler of such a great Lodge, filled with so many amazing and energetic Members. With only a few short weeks left, I would like to salute my officers Tom Connolly, Brit Moore, Tim Hight, Vanessa Slack, Mark Vernon, Terry Herndon, Chick Overby, Mike Stepp, and WONDER WOMAN secretary Shari Driscoll.

I would also like to congratulate our incoming Exalted Ruler Tom Connolly and his Officers: Tim Hight, Gary Feldner and Bob DeLuca as our Leading, Loyal and Lecturing Knights respectively. Shari Driscoll will continue to work her magic as our Lodge secretary and Mike Stepp is gracious enough to be our Inner Guard again this year. Newer members Ada Sanchez (Treasurer), Steve Perdue (Tiler) and Bob Henson (Chaplain) help us round out our team of Officers. Thanks to all of them for being so involved in the Lodge!

As a Lodge we have accomplished many things this year, too numerous to list them all. Let just say that we have kept our Members entertained with great events and served our community with every Grand Lodge grant we could qualify for with the amazing help from our Grant Chairman the Honorable Phil Driscoll. The entire Lodge thanks you brother!!

Speaking of the Driscoll’s we could not be more proud of our lodges 5th state president since 1909 and the states first female president, Shari Driscoll!  Congratulations Mrs. President!! Last but surely not least I would like to thank all of my Committee folks… House committee chairman Tim Hight and everyone on his volunteers for a wonderful year. Doug Orcutt for his leadership with the Membership committee. GREAT job Doug! Beth Hawks was our Veterans chair (for more times than I could count) thank you Beth for helping our Veterans. A very special thanks to Thomas Connolly and his team for taking care of our “Shinning Jewel” the pool. These folks work very hard to make sure our pool is ready which is pretty much a full time job. Thank ya’ll for a job well done.

Last but surely not least, I would like to thank our Members for without you we would not have our Lodge. Please remember that membership is the life blood of our Lodge, so if ya’ll know a friend, neighbor or any other American Citizen please bring them in for a visit to see all the benefits we have to offer.

And congratulations to Bob Gold for being named our February Elk of the Month.
