October went out with a Bash. A great time was had by all who attended the annual Halloween Bash. The costumes were fantastic. Special thanks to Daz Pallaci, Janice Kennedy, Tom Adams, Bob DeLuca, Johnny Pascavage, Robbie “2” Creech and Monica Pallaci who all helped with this event.

On a perfect (well, maybe a little wet) October Saturday afternoon, we had a wonderful Wing Fest held under the shelter. Great wings and lots of football. Thanks to Tom Adams, Adam Pallaci, Johnny Pascavage, Jeff Miller, Doug Orcutt, Clint Banks, Stewart McGlaughlin, Ben Adams, Amy Kishshaffer, Tom Connolly, Brian Moore, John Harkey, Neil Martone, Sam Phillips, and Mike Cockerham.

The annual Elks Fall Convention this year took place in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was a great 3-day weekend of seeing familiar faces, making new friends and enjoying Elkdom — North Carolina Style. The Grand Exalted Ruler was there to visit with the Elks from this great state. I would encourage all Elks to attend either the Spring and/or Fall conventions in the future once this COVID is gone, as they are a lot of fun and a great way to learn more about our terrific organization. The next convention is scheduled for May 1-3rd in Atlantic Beach, NC and more info can be found on NCElks.org.
