Welcome to 2022, which hopefully will be a positive, healthy and productive year for our High Point Lodge. We closed out the year with many great holiday events and activities. The Lodge was decorated throughout the building and looked fantastic. Thanks to all who volunteered their time to bring the holiday spirit to our members. We continued our tradition of a Giving Tree for a local family in need, had a fun Open House and our annual Member’s Night Christmas Party was a big hit.

We continued to serve our local community during the holiday and were proud to present a check for $15,000 to the Tiny House Development, Inc. of High Point to provide housing for local homeless veterans. These funds were raised through our annual Andy Albertson and Steven Hall Memorial Golf Tournament. We also provided a nice Christmas meal for the residents of the Arthur Cassell Transitional Home for Veterans and presented them with a Veteran’s recognition print painted by a NC Elks member from our Raleigh Lodge. Finally, our annual Turkey Day Golf Tournament was well attended, and they raised $400 for the High Point West End Ministries. Thanks to those volunteers who each year put the time in for the event and raise funds for our community.
