In December 2023, The Victory Junction Gang received $23,000 from the net proceeds of the 10th Annual Andy Albertson and Steven Hall Memorial Charity Golf Tournament sponsored by the High Point Elks’ Lodge #1155.
Chad Coltrane, the president and CEO of Victory Junction, said “Victory Junction is honored to be the recipient of funds from the Elks’ Andy Albertson and Steven Hall Golf tourney. These men and the Elks have a have a long history of making a difference in our community. Thank you to everyone involved for providing life changing experiences for kids with serious illnesses at Victory Junction.” Cathy Davis, Director of Special Events, added that this money will house a full cabin of campers for a week this upcoming summer.
As chair of the golf tournament, I would like to thank everyone who participated in all of our fundraising from purchasing jello shots to the golf gala and silent auction, small & large sponsors and to the players in the tournament. This is a community effort which we value and appreciate every year as we try to help many nonprofit organizations in need; it would not be possible without everyone of you! Since the conception of the memorial golf tournament, this event has netted over $119,000 for local charities over the last ten years. And a big THANK YOU to my golf committee, without them, none of it would happen every year. The next tournament will be in November this year supporting Camp Carefree.
Thank you and Blessings, Deanna Vernon
