Hello members:

In May we held a beautiful Mother’s Day Brunch complete with roses, piano music, great food from Above & Beyond, and wonderful ambiance. We had reservations for over 120 guests! Thank you to our Lodge Officers for delivering a lovely ceremony. A special thank You to leading Knight Sean Kirk for accepting the challenge and leading the event! Several of our officers and members attended the spring convention in Asheville on the first weekend in May. It was an educational and entertaining event.

We also learned more about the Veterans Welcome Home Kit program that . Our lodge has donated 27 of these kits to homeless veterans that are transitioning to a new home. Membership continues to grow in North Carolina, there are now over 10,200 Elks in our state and the convention is a great place to meet and get to know each other. Our next NC Elks Convention will be held in Charlotte on October 27-29. I hope that you will consider joining us there.
