Well, my year as your ER is over… It has been quite a whirlwind of a year, we have been running since April of last year and it is time to take a step back and let your new ER Sean Kirk take the reigns of the Lodge. There are a lot of thank-you’s that have already been said. There is a couple more that need to happen a big Thank-You to Stewart McGlaughlin. Stewart has been part of many committees around the Lodge most recently the pool, membership and veterans. Stewart is going to take a step back so I would like to thank him for all his years of service on those committees. The final thank you goes to the PER’s of the Lodge, I am humbled to join your ranks as some would say I was a PER but not from North Carolina. Can’t say that anymore. Thank your for your guidance, council, direction and a laugh when it was needed most, but most importantly thank you for your friendship.
Congratulations to Susan Clark for being named our March Elk of the Month.

Greetings, let me introduce myself in case you don’t know me. My name is Sean Kirk, and I am excited for the opportunity to be your Exalted Ruler next year. I joined High Point Lodge #1155 on June 30th of 2020. I am currently a member of the Veterans Committee and Membership Committee. I have been on the Board of Directors (2-years), Leading Knight (2-years), and now the Exalted Ruler. The Elks and the members of the High Point Lodge are not only my friends, but my family. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of you. I will work hard for our Lodge to continue the success we have had over the years. This success is due to the great members of this Lodge being active in all aspects of Elkdom. Thank you for trusting me to lead our Lodge for the next year.
