The Swim Team Committee is a group of enthusiastic parent volunteers, here to lead the charge that swim meets are organized, efficient, and safely run, so that our swimmers and divers can have a great experience during these events. We also work to help find volunteers to run the swim team’s social activities. We offer a competitive summer swim league. This committee usually meets monthly from January – June.
The High Point Elks summer swim team is open to anyone age 4 to 18. Whether you are an experienced swimmer or have never swam before, this team is looking for YOU! All swimming abilities welcome! The season begins with preseason practices at the High Point Swim Club in May and then shifts to practices at our pool. Both morning and evening practices are offered and run by our staff of experienced coaches. There are 5 swim meets in June and the season ends with the City Championship in July. The cost to join the team is only $100 which includes the 5 head-to-head meets, as many practices as you’d like to attend, our team T-shirt, swim cap as well as our year-end party and Awards Banquet. Many people think if they participate in another sport they can’t swim too. That thought is incorrect! Swimming is a great way to supplement your training, stay in shape and have fun.
